Malaysia Blockchain Week 2026 (MYBW 2026) will take place on July 29–30, 2026, at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur, event organizer ACTIV8 Lab announced. The conference will bring together blockchain developers, investors, enterprises, and policymakers to discuss web3 and artificial intelligence adoption in Southeast Asia.

Event Details and Focus Areas

The conference will operate under the theme “Bridging Realities: Where Everyone Meets Web3”. According to a press statement, the agenda covers topics including institutional capital, local adoption, and the intersection of AI infrastructure with blockchain technology.

The two-day event will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions, educational workshops, and networking sessions.

Speaker Lineup and Executive Statements

Confirmed speakers for the event include Binance Global Policy Lead Steven Mcwhirter, Tron Founder Justin Sun, Visa Head of Digital Currencies Asia Pacific Nischint Sanghavi, Anchorage Digital Head of APAC Moses Lee, Etherscan CEO Matthew Tan, and CoinGecko Co-Founder and CEO Bobby Ong. Organizers stated that over 150 additional speakers are scheduled to participate.

“What we’re seeing now is web3 as a whole being actively shaped in emerging markets like Southeast Asia,” Noelle Lee, managing partner and organizing host of MYBW, said in a statement. “MYBW 2026 is where those voices are heard to build a conversation about what web3 adoption means in Malaysia and its region among the global landscape.”

Dr. Ian Tan, co-founder of MYBW, cited an upcoming digital policy as part of Malaysia’s framework for attracting technology firms. “With the highly anticipated launch of the new digital policy, Malaysia welcomes all web3 companies globally to do business here,” Tan stated.

Industry Participation and Organization

Sponsors for the conference include platforms such as Luno, Base, HATA, Gambit Custody, Cryptobilis, Anchorage Digital, BitGo, TRM Labs, Ledger, and Utila.

ACTIV8 Lab, a marketing agency under BlockOffice, is serving as the event organizer. Additional speaker and program announcements will be released ahead of the conference, according to the organizers.
