WebX 2026, Japan’s flagship web3 conference, has officially concluded its fourth edition following a two-day run at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo. The event drew 13,641 participants from over 90 countries and hosted more than 70 side events throughout the city.

Against the backdrop of Japan’s evolving digital asset regulations, this year’s discussions focused heavily on yen stablecoins, tokenization adoption by megabanks, and growing institutional confidence across the broader industry.
